Compensation & Fee Schedule
Our standard advisory fee is based on the market value of the assets under management and is calculated as follows:
Assets Under Management | Annual Advisory Fee | Quarterly Advisory Fee |
---|---|---|
$0 – $500,000 | 1.00% | 0.25% |
$500,001 – $1,000,000 | 0.85% | 0.2125% |
$1,000,001 – $2,000,000 | 0.70% | 0.175% |
$2,000,001 – $3,000,000 | 0.55% | 0.1375% |
$3,000,001 – $4,000,000 | 0.40% | 0.10% |
$4,000,001 & Above | 0.25% | 0.0625% |
The annual advisory fee is paid quarterly in arrears and is based on the value of the account(s) as of the last day of the billing period. The advisory fee is a blended tier. For example, for assets under management of $900,000, a client would pay 1.00% on the first $500,000 and 0.85% on the remaining balance. The quarterly fee is determined by the following calculation: (($500,000 x 1.00%) + ($400,000 x 0.85%)) ÷ 4 = $2,100.
Aaron Best, CFP® Professional
Personal
Aaron was born and raised and let’s be honest, probably will never leave Southern Utah. The only time he has spent living outside of Utah was when he served on a mission for his church for the space of two years in the great state of Wisconsin.
When he returned home, he attended Utah Valley University where he threw shot-put/discus/hammer for the track team on scholarship. He dated his beautiful wife during that time and later married. They now have 4 children.
When Aaron is not in the office he can be found outdoors fishing and camping with his family or coaching the throwing events at the local high school.
Professional
During my time at Utah Valley, I enrolled in a personal financial class that proved to be a pivotal moment in my professional journey. The class introduced the concept of pursuing certification as a Certified Financial Planner, which immediately resonated with me.
To commence my career, I secured a position with one of the world’s leading financial service firms. This experience exposed me to the fundamental aspects of trading, investing, and retirement planning. Following this, I transitioned to a prominent financial firm in northern Utah, where I honed my focus on the personal side of finance working closely with individuals and families to develop their comprehensive financial plans.
Since then, I have continued to refine my expertise in the financial planning sector, notably contributing to a respected planning firm based in Southern Utah. In this role, I have had the privilege of assisting individuals and businesses with their diverse planning needs, demonstrating my commitment to navigating the intricacies of this field.
